Do you provide personal care or medical care?
No. Rasogie Companionship Services is strictly non-medical.
We do not provide personal care, medical or nursing care, medication support, or any regulated care activities.

Who can use your service?
Our service is available to adults aged 18+, including individuals with physical, sensory, learning, or mental health disabilities. We do not provide services to children or young people under 18.

Are you regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)?
No. As we do not provide regulated care activities, we are not regulated by the CQC. Our service is companionship-based only.

Are your companions trained and DBS checked?
Yes. All companions are DBS checked and selected carefully. We have clear safeguarding procedures, professional boundaries, and ongoing oversight.

Can families or professionals make referrals?
Yes. Referrals can be made by individuals, families, GPs, social prescribers, local councils, and community organisations.

Do you support people with mental health needs?
We provide non-clinical emotional and social support Our service is led by a mental health professional, but we do not offer therapy, counselling, or clinical treatment.

Do you operate in Manchester only?
We are based in Manchester and primarily support individuals within the local area. Please contact us to confirm availability.

How flexible is the service?
Our service is flexible. Support can be arranged on a regular or occasional basis, depending on individual needs and preferences.

We review support regularly and will always discuss changes openly. If someone’s needs move beyond companionship, we will help signpost to appropriate services.
